Westpoint, a steadfast advocate for artistic expression and innovation, demonstrates its commitment to fostering creativity and empowering artists, by sponsoring the 2024 Blacktown City Art Prize Exhibition.

Through this partnership with Blacktown Arts, Westpoint continues to celebrate artistic excellence and champions the importance of creative employment opportunities.

81 finalists were chosen from Western Sydney and across Australia out of 381 entries, with special consideration given to artworks that reflected upon the diverse history, environment of Blacktown and First Nations stories of the area.

The following talented individuals were announced as winners:

Main Prize Winner: Catherine O’Donnell, Gilded Communities

First Nations Artist Prize Winner: Nathan Dawson, Loss of Identity/Culture

Local Artist Prize Winner: Anjali Sharma, Momentary Threads of Youth

Early Career Artist Prize Winner: Mina Lee, Here Comes Trouble

People’s Choice Prize Winner: Mina Lee, Here Comes Trouble
